Alex O'Dell is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Floyd, a direct-to-consumer furniture brand based in Detroit, Michigan. He co-founded Floyd in 2013 with Kyle Hoff. O'Dell graduated from the University of Michigan in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in Public Policy and started Floyd at age 23. He was recognized in Forbes' 30 Under 30 in 2020. Floyd is known for sustainable, modular furniture design and was named one of Fast Company's World's Most Innovative Design Companies in 2021.
