4th of July 2026 Furniture Sales: The Deals Actually Worth It

4th of July furniture and home sales from top brands

The Fourth of July is the first real furniture-sale weekend of the summer — and like every holiday sale, about half of it is theater. The brands below aren't. These are genuine, live discounts from brands we actually rate, sorted by category so you can skip straight to what you're shopping for.

If you've been sitting on an investment piece — the new sectional, the mattress upgrade, the patio set that finally makes the backyard usable — this is a reasonable weekend to pull the trigger. Most of these run through early-to-mid July, so you've got a beat to think. And worth knowing: furniture tariffs keep tightening through the summer, so on a lot of this, prices probably won't get better until Black Friday.

Burrow — Up to 50% off, Fourth of July Sale

Burrow's modular system is the one we point people to when they're not sure how much space they'll have in two years — you buy the pieces you need now and snap on more later, no tools, no drama. The Fourth of July Sale is live now through July 7, up to 50% off, discount applied at checkout. A few picks worth circling:

  • The Union 6-Seat Sectional: $5,619 → $3,652. Their most spacious sectional — deep, sink-in seats, the one to anchor a real family movie room around.
  • The Union 4-Seat Sofa: $3,439 → $2,235. Same plush Union comfort, scaled to a generous sofa if you're not ready for a full sectional.
  • The Chorus Bed: $1,835 → $1,285. A genuinely rock-solid platform bed that assembles without tools — rare at this price.

Joybird — Summer markdowns on made-to-order mid-century

Joybird's made-to-order model usually keeps pricing steady year-round, so a real discount window is the moment to move if you've been eyeing one. The mid-century silhouettes are the draw — tapered legs, deep tufted seats, the kind of sofa that looks intentional. The pick:

  • The Bryant Sofa: $3,170 → $1,743 (save up to $1,427). Clean lines, a bench seat you can actually stretch out on, and a fabric range deep enough to match almost any room.

Sabai — Up to $1,000 off sitewide, tiered savings

Sabai is the sustainability pick that doesn't ask you to compromise — recycled velvet, plant-based foam, and slipcovers you swap out instead of tossing the whole sofa. AAPI- and female-founded, too. Their 4th of July event runs June 24–July 12 with tiered savings that scale with your order, auto-applied at checkout: $100 off $750, $300 off $1,500, $600 off $3,000, and up to $1,000 off $5,000+. The tiers make this a real one if you're outfitting a whole room rather than buying a single chair.

Sale window: June 24–July 12 · Code: None (auto-applied) · Best for: Sustainable seating, especially a full-room build-out

Albany Park — Free premium fabric upgrade + free white-glove delivery

Albany Park's deal this round isn't a percentage — it's a complimentary upgrade to their premium performance fabric plus free white-glove delivery, a combo they value at up to around $1,000. Performance fabric is the move if you've got kids or pets: basically stain-proof, and nobody can tell it's not the "fancy" option. Honest heads-up — an Albany Park sectional ships in about six boxes. Assembly is genuinely easy, but your hallway will look like a UPS depot for an afternoon.

Sale window: Live now · Code: None (applied at checkout) · Best for: Apartment-friendly modular sofas in a pet-proof fabric

Cozey — Free shipping sitewide + bundle savings

Cozey runs free shipping on every order — no minimum, no "free shipping over $X" theater — and layers on real bundle pricing if you're outfitting a room rather than buying a single piece (think sofa + rug, or a full bedroom set). Their modular sofas assemble in minutes and are built for actual living rooms, not showroom photos.

The same modular, tool-free Burrow system, built for the elements — galvanized steel frames that won't rust, quick-dry foam, all-weather fabric that shrugs off rain, dirt, and the occasional spilled drink. If the Fourth is when your backyard finally gets used, this is the seasonal pick:

  • The Relay Outdoor 3-Piece Sofa: $2,925 → $1,755 (40% off). Breaks down flat for off-season storage, which is the quiet feature you'll appreciate in November.

Caraway — Bundle savings + 10% off sitewide

Caraway's non-toxic ceramic cookware is the aesthetic-meets-clean-materials pick — no PFAS or PTFE, and a color range built to match your kitchen rather than hide in a cabinet. The bundles are where the math gets good: the Clean Start Bundle drops to $995 (from $1,900, 48% off) and the Full Ceramic Cookware Bundle to $1,495 (from $2,470, 39% off). There's also a stackable 10%-off code you can layer on most orders.

Le Creuset — 40% off, Summer Cookware Event

Le Creuset almost never goes on sale, so a 40%-off window on the enameled cast iron is the kind of thing people set calendar reminders for. A Dutch oven at this discount is a genuine buy-it-once piece — the sort of pan that outlives the kitchen it started in. If you've been waiting for the price to make sense, this is as good as it gets.

Lamps Plus — Up to 50% off lighting, furniture & decor

The fastest, cheapest way to make a room feel finished is usually lighting, and Lamps Plus's "Hot Days & Hotter Deals" event takes up to 50% off across lighting, furniture, and decor. A new statement pendant or a pair of table lamps is the low-commitment refresh if you're not ready to replace the sofa.

How to shop 4th of July sales without regret

The Fourth is a loud sale weekend, but loud doesn't mean every deal is a deal. A few rules we use ourselves:

Compare against the brand's normal price, not the "MSRP." Direct-to-consumer brands rarely run true "regular" pricing — what looks like 40% off can be 10% off the real number. A quick check of your inbox history or the Wayback Machine tells you whether the discount is meaningful.

Don't buy on a deadline you wouldn't buy on anyway. If you'd hesitate without the countdown banner, hesitate. Most of these sales repeat at Labor Day and Black Friday — there's almost always another window.

Check the return policy before you buy a sofa. Holiday pricing on a couch you can't return isn't a deal. Read the fine print before checkout.

Ignore "+ free shipping" theater. Most DTC brands ship free year-round. It's usually marketing, not a perk.

Bundle only if you'd have bought the pieces anyway. Mattress and room bundles raise the average order value by design. If you genuinely need the base or the rug, bundle. If not, the "savings" is just a nudge to spend more.
