In the interest of a 100% honest review, I made something that has defeated every nonstick fry pan I own: Sugared grilled cheese sandwiches.

Stuck-on stains are easy to remove, too. I had a spot on the outside of my Perfect Pot after roasting meat and veggies, so I tried what Our Place recommends: Baking soda and dish soap.

It worked like a charm!

• Boil some water mixed with a few tablespoons of baking soda in your cookware every few months, or if you begin to experience sticking—it’s likely caused by a thin film over the nonstick coating.
